Anjuman Frog-e Urdu Jharkhand was established in 2017 by a group of passionate research scholars from Ranchi and its surrounding areas, Anjuman Frog-e Urdu Jharkhand is dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and advancement of the Urdu language. Initially named Hamari Anjuman, it was later renamed Anjuman Froge Urdu Jharkhand after several discussions with intellectuals, to reflect its broader vision of empowering the Urdu-speaking community and fostering cultural and educational growth. Officially recognized by the Jharkhand government in December 2020, the organization has since become a beacon for Urdu enthusiasts, bringing together students, professors, and scholars to celebrate and promote this rich linguistic heritage.
